During Tom’s career, he has contributed to industry-leading stations – many of which won awards like Country Music Association (CMA) Radio Station of the Year, CMA Personality of the Year, Academy of Country Music Association’s (ACM) Personality of the Year. Additionally, Freeman has earned many national and regional awards for his contributions to news, commercial production, branding, marketing, and fund-raising.

At age 14, Tom began his career by volunteering at a gospel radio station next door to the surgery clinic that his mom worked as a nurse. At Age 16 (after getting a driver’s license), he worked full-time as an air personality on the top station in his hometown. Tom has served as an air personality, music director, program director, operations manager, account executive, sales manager, and general manager for some of the top broadcasting companies in the industry, including iHeart Radio, Cumulus, and Nexstar TV. He has worked in Hattiesburg, MS, Tupelo, MS, Jackson, MS, Oklahoma City, OK, Topeka, KS, and Memphis, TN. Tom is the co-owner and General Manager of 95.3 The Rebel (Country Legends) and Guess FM (Classic Hits) in the greater Memphis area.

Tom Freeman is a graduate of Belhaven College in Jackson, MS. He is the father of three, married, and a resident of Hernando, MS.
