At a Sunday press conference held at the White House Rose Garden, President Donald J. Trump extended the Federal social distancing guidelines until April 30, 2020.  In a transcript of the speech, Mr. Trump stated “…we will be extending our guidelines to April 30th to slow the spread. On Tuesday we will be finalizing these plans and providing a summary of our findings, supporting data, and strategy to the American people.”

The President’s Corona virus Guidelines for America include:

  • Follow the directions of state and local authorities.
  • If you feel sick, stay home.
  • If your children are sick, keep them home.
  • If someone has tested positive your home, keep the entire family home.
  • If you are an older person, stay home and stay away from other people.
  • If you have an underlying health condition, stay home and stay away from other people.
  • Avoid social gatherings of 10 or more.
  • Practice good Hygiene including washing hands frequently, avoid touching your face, sneeze and cough in a tissue or your elbow.
  • Disinfect frequently used items and surfaces.
